What is Logan Square Care?

Logan Square Care is a neighborhood care service run by two sisters based at 2309 Race Street in Logan Square, Philadelphia. We provide pet sitting, babysitting, elder companionship, housesitting, and our signature Sister Team service to residents of Logan Square apartment buildings and condominiums.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Logan Square neighborhood of Philadelphia (ZIP 19103), including all major apartment communities and condominiums along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Pennsylvania Avenue, and surrounding streets. This includes Park Towne Place, The Philadelphian, Dalian on the Park, Riverwalk Philly, and 13 other buildings.

How do I book a service?

You can book through our online scheduling system (powered by Square Appointments), email us at hello@logansquarecare.com, or use the contact form on our website. First-time clients always start with a free meet-and-greet.

What is the free meet-and-greet?

Before your first paid service, we come to your home for a complimentary visit. We meet your family and pets, tour your home, learn your routines and preferences, exchange keys/fobs, and answer any questions. This ensures everyone is comfortable before we start. There is no charge and no obligation.

Will I always get the same person?

Yes. Unlike apps like Rover or Care.com that rotate different providers, Logan Square Care is run by two sisters. You'll always see the same familiar faces. For individual services, you'll be paired with whichever sister specializes in that area. For The Sister Team, both of us come.

Are you insured and background-checked?

Yes. We carry general liability insurance and have clean background checks available for review. We also maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications (both pediatric and adult).

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel with 24 hours notice for a full refund. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) are charged at 50% of the booked rate. No-shows are charged the full amount. We understand emergencies happen — just communicate with us and we'll work with you.

Do you offer same-day bookings?

Often, yes. Because we live in the neighborhood, we can frequently accommodate same-day requests depending on our schedule. Reach out and we'll let you know within 30 minutes if we're available.

How do you handle keys and building access?

We arrange key/fob exchange during your meet-and-greet. For buildings with front desk or concierge staff, we can be added to your approved guest list. All keys are stored securely and returned upon request.

What payment methods do you accept?

We process payments through Square. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other digital wallets. Payment is collected at the time of booking.

The Sister Team

Signature Service

What is The Sister Team service?

The Sister Team is our signature offering. Both sisters arrive at your home at the same time. One focuses entirely on people care (watching kids, elder companionship, pet attention) while the other handles home care (cleaning, tidying, organizing, laundry). You get two services delivered simultaneously for $50/hour — that's $25/person, less than agencies charge for just one service.

Can I choose what each sister does?

Yes. Before each visit, you tell us your priorities. Need one sister on toddler duty while the other deep-cleans the kitchen? Done. Need elder companionship plus bedroom organizing? We flex to match what matters most that day. The allocation can change visit to visit.

Is there a minimum booking time for The Sister Team?

We recommend a 2-hour minimum to make the most of having both of us there. That gives enough time to make a real impact on both the care and the home side. But we're flexible — talk to us about what works.

How does The Sister Team compare to hiring separately?

Hiring a babysitter ($20/hr) and a cleaning service ($30-40/hr) separately would cost $50-60/hr minimum — and they wouldn't be coordinated. The Sister Team is $50/hr for both of us, working in sync, adapting in real-time. It's cheaper and better.
